Welcome to Fritton lake Woodland Lodges, part of Lord Somerleyton's Norfolk estate. Whether you are looking to invest in your own luxury timber lodge or join us for a holiday, you really will not find a better location. We have been proud holders of the David Bellamy gold award for conservation for over 10 years and continually work to improve our environment for wildlife plants and trees.
Fritton Lake woodland lodges are located in the heart of 250 acres of mature woodland, spaced sympathetically amongst the trees. This means that you can relax in sumptuous surroundings, with a world of nature on your doorstep. Here we can offer you perfect peace, tranquillity and relaxation, or a world of excitement at our outdoor activity centre www.frittonlake.info.
All this and one of the loveliest stretches of water in the country. Fritton lake is over 2.5 miles long and offers the most spectacular views you will ever see. Whether you like to walk, cycle, play golf, fish, ride horses or just relax on your decking with a glass of wine, you will feel at home here.

About the lodges
Every lodge has superb views over Fritton Lake or mature woodland, you choose! We offer two, three or four bedroom accommodation, with deluxe bathrooms, fully fitted kitchens, domestic double glazing and heating and the most comfortable living areas. In line with estate policy, where the environment is of the utmost importance, all of our lodges are manufactured to the highest environmental standards and are finished in larch, cedar or oak.
We are ideally situated between the beautiful Norfolk Broads and the Suffolk Heritage Coast, including towns such as Aldeburgh & Southwold. What's more, the city of Norwich with its rich heritage and great shopping, is only 20 minutes away.
