Hotel Accommodation

In addition Fritton Arms is our charming pub and hotel at Fritton Lake where friendly staff will welcome you for breakfast lunch and supper or just a relaxing drink on the terrace.

Duke's Head Gastropub

Further afield but still on the estate is Somerleyton Hall and village where you will find the Duke’s Head our gastro-pub on the river Waveney.

Fritton Lake Lodges

Fritton Lake Lodges are found at Fritton Lake on the Somerleyton Estate, Suffolk.  There are 60 lodges so far with 40 more planned all dotted throughout the mature woodland along Fritton Lake, one of the loveliest stretches of water in East Anglia.

About the lodges

Every lodge has superb views of Fritton Lake or mature woodland and offers comfortable accommodation with two, three or four bedrooms, deluxe bathrooms, a fully fitted kitchen and comfortable living area. The lodges are manufactured in the UK to the highest environmental standards and are finished in larch, cedar or oak.

All lodges come with fully equipped kitchens and modern bathrooms including showers.

Nearby places

Our lodges are situated near the Norfolk Broads and the Suffolk Heritage Coast including seaside towns such as Southwold, Aldeburgh and Great Yarmouth. Norwich is only 20 miles away, rich with heritage and great for shopping.

Cycle Hire

We have quality mountain bikes for you to hire to explore Fritton Lake and the wider area. Ride the trails around the park or venture to Somerleyton or Burgh Castle exploring the countryside at your own pace. Pick up and return bikes from the Old Coach House (Lodge Bookings Office). Open daily from 8.30am - 10.30am.
